To date I haven't dealt with it, except when I have to update my empty spreadsheet for the new year. Currently do to that you would have to insert rows for the new years above the current year, then you could copy and paste from the spreadsheet with the new years info. After that is done you may have to adjust the formulas that calculate the statistics or the pivot tables (the don't have lists). I can't remember exactly, but I think that they should be ok because there formula starts with the title rows, so inserted rows in the middle should automatically included.
